|Canned crabmeat||7 1⁄2 Ounce|
|White bread slice||5|
|Soft bread crumbs||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
In saucepan cook onion in 2 tablespoons butter till tender but not brown.
Blend in flour, 1/2 teaspoon salt, and mustard.
Add milk; cook and stir till thickened and bubbly.
Remove crusts from sliced bread; cut bread into 1/2-inch cubes.
Fold into crab mixture.
Turn into 1-quart casserole.
Combine bread crumbs and melted butter.
Sprinkle atop casserole.
Bake at 350Â° till heated through and topping is lightly browned, 35 to 40 minutes.
