Crunchy Crab Cakes

Ingredients
  Bread slice 2 , crumbled
  Egg 1 , lightly beaten
  Mayonnaise 1 Tablespoon
  Parsley flakes 1 Teaspoon
  Celery salt 1 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Dry mustard 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Ginger 1⁄8 Teaspoon
  Black pepper 1⁄8 Teaspoon
  Worcestershire sauce 1 Tablespoon
  Cayenne pepper/Red pepper 1⁄8 Teaspoon
  Baking powder 1 Tablespoon
  Cloves 1 Dash
  Crab meat 1 Pound
  Shortening 1 Tablespoon (As Required)
Directions

MAKING
1) In a bowl, combine the bread crumbs with beaten eggs.
2) Add the Worcestershire sauce mayonnaise, parsley flakes, celery salt, dry mustard, ginger, pepper, cloves, cayenne and baking powder.
3) Mix thoroughly, combine with the crab meat and shape into 8 cakes.
4) In a heavy skillet or fryer, fry the crab cakes in the shortening or deep fat at 375°F for 4 minutes, or until golden brown.

SERVING
5) Serve the Crab Cakes, immediately on a serving platter.
