Seafood En Brochettes
|Mussels||12 Large, steamed and removed from their shells|
|Bacon slices||4 , each stretched and cut into 3 and rolled up|
|Jumbo shrimp||12 , shelled|
|Green pepper||1 , cored, seeded and cut into 12 pieces|
|Garlic||1 Clove (5 gm), crushed|
|Black pepper||To Taste|
Preheat the broiler to moderate.
Thread the mussels, bacon rolls, shrimp, mushrooms and green pepper alternately onto 4 long skewers.
Put the garlic, butter, salt and pepper into a saucepan and heat very gently until the butter has melted.
Brush the brochettes with the melted butter and broil for about 8 minutes, turning them over frequently until they are cooked.
Garnish with parsley sprigs.
