Octopus With Onions And Tomato

Ingredients
  Octopus 2 Pound
  Olive oil 1 Cup (16 tbs), pounded
  Tomato paste 2 Tablespoon
  Onions 4 Large, finely chopped
  Salt To Taste
  Pepper To Taste
Directions

Be sure the octopus has been well pounded to tenderize it.
Clean it thoroughly and discard the ink sac.
Cut octopus into bite size pieces.
Saut6 onions in olive oil until soft and golden.
Add octopus, tomato paste, and salt and pepper and stew for 10 minutes.
Add enough water to cover.
Bring to a boil, cover, and simmer for about 1 hour or until octopus is tender.
