Apricot Scones is a flavorful scone recipe, prepared with dried chopped apricots, butter, flour, eggs, baking powder and baking soda. Apricots, sugar, and butter are blended together; flour, baking soda and baking powder are mixed into another bowl. The eggs are whisked and mixed with the apricot mixture. Apricot mixture is turned out on the flour and baked at 400 degrees until the scone turns light brown. Apricot Scones can be garnished either with apricot jams or preserves on top along with Devonshire cream and is served warm with breakfast smoothie.
