Newfoundland Scones

Ingredients
  Graham flour 3 Cup (48 tbs)
  Brown sugar/Raw sugar 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Oil 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Egg 1
  Baking powder 3 Teaspoon
  Salt To Taste
  Nuts/Raisins / dates 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Buttermilk 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs) (To Mix)
Directions

Mix dry ingredients, add oil and egg, and mix well.
Make into large round, and slash across top.
Bake at 400 about 20 minutes, or until firm in the middle and brown.
Best cold.
