|Egg||1 , well beaten|
|Milk||1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)|
|Ever ready blend||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
|Grated lemon rind/Grated orange rind||1 Teaspoon|
|Raisins||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
Combine egg and milk.
Measure Ever-Ready Blend into bowl.
Add sugar, rind, and raisins.
Add milk mixture; stir with fork until soft dough is formed.
Turn out on lightly floured board and knead 30 seconds.
Divide dough into two equal parts; pat or roll each into a circle 1/2 inch thick.
With sharp knife, cut each circle into 6 triangles.
Place on greased baking sheet.
Brush tops with milk or slightly beaten egg white; sprinkle with sugar.
Bake in hot oven (450°F.) 10 to 12 minutes.
