Butter Scones

Ingredients
  Flour 3⁄4 Pound
  Butter 1⁄2 Pound
  Eggs 5
  Sour cream 3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs) (About 1.5 Gill)
  Milk 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs) (About 1 Gill)
  Yeast 1 Ounce
  Sugar 3 Tablespoon
  Salt 1 Pinch
Directions

Rub flour into butter.
Soak yeast in a little lukewarm milk and knead this and 4 eggs, pinch of salt, sugar and 4 tbsp., sour cream into a light dough.
Put on a floured pastry board, roll out three times at half hour intervals.
The fourth time, roll out an inch thick, cut out with sconecutter, brush with beaten egg and bake in a hot oven.
