Griddle Scones

Griddle Scones is a delicious snack recipe that you would love to prepare on a get together. Try this Griddle Scones; I am sure you will have a huge fan following for this!
  All purpose flour 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Cream of tartar 2 Teaspoon
  Granulated sugar 2 Teaspoon
  Baking soda 1 Teaspoon
  Salt 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Lard/Shortening 25 Milliliter (2 Tablespoon)
  Sour milk 125 Milliliter (1/2 Cup)

In mixing bowl, stir together flour, cream of tartar, sugar, soda and salt.
With pastry blender or 2 knives, cut in lard until mixture is crumbly.
Add sour milk all at once; stir with fork just until mixture is blended.
Handling dough as little as possible, pat on floured surface into circle about 3/4 inch (2 cm) thick.
With sharp knife, cut circle into 8 wedges.
Lightly toss each wedge from hand to hand to remove excess flour; cook on medium hot griddle or in skillet until lightly browned on each side, turning only once.
