|Strawberry jam/Raspberry jam||1 Cup (16 tbs) (For Filling)|
|Baking powder||1 1⁄2 Teaspoon|
1 Preheat the oven to 150 C.
2 In a bowl, sift together refined flour and baking powder.
3 Add in butter and rub until the mixture resembles bread crumbs.
4 Break the egg and add it to the refined flour.
5 Knead the mixture to a soft dough.
6 Roll out to about ½ inch thickness.
7 Cut into rounds of 2 ½” to 3” diameter.
8 Bake in the preheated oven for 30 minutes.
9 Remove from the oven and split when still hot.
10 Spread with the jam.
11 Serve warm.
