|Skimmed milk||150 Milliliter|
|Caster sugar||30 Gram|
|Clotted cream||30 Gram|
|Strawberry jam||30 Gram|
1.Pre-heat oven at 220C.
2.In a mixing bowl, sift the flour and add cubes of butter and salt to it.
3.Mix everything together with your hands after adding sugar.
4.Make a small well inside the bowl and pour milk. Keep stirring until it makes a dough.
5.Into the same bowl, pop in the currants and give it a good mix.
6.Flour the work surface and knead the dough on the flour for 5 minutes.
7.Once the dough is ready, roll out the dough to a thickness of 2 cm.
8.Once rolled, use a pastry cutter to cut out the scones.
9.Using butter, grease the baking tin and then place the scones on it.
10.Crack an egg, whisk it and brush the scone with the whisked egg.
11.Place the scones in the oven for 15 minutes until they are golden brown.
12.These classic English scones make for great tea time snack and tasty amazing when served with jam.
