Delicious, Nutritious Date Scones
|Baking powder||4 Teaspoon|
|Chopped dates||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Whole wheat flour||2 Cup (32 tbs) (plus milk and water to make 1 cup)|
|Milk and water||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
Blend dry ingredients, rub in butter, add milk and water mixture.
Mix lightly, tip out and flatten slightly and cut out with pastry cutter, or drop spoonsful onto a greased baking sheet.
Bake at 450° F for 10 - 15 minutes.
