Delicious, Nutritious Date Scones

Ingredients
  Baking powder 4 Teaspoon
  Sugar 2 Tablespoon
  Chopped dates 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Butter 2 Tablespoon
  Wheatgerm 1 Tablespoon
  Whole wheat flour 2 Cup (32 tbs) (plus milk and water to make 1 cup)
  Milk and water 1 Cup (16 tbs)
Directions

Blend dry ingredients, rub in butter, add milk and water mixture.
Mix lightly, tip out and flatten slightly and cut out with pastry cutter, or drop spoonsful onto a greased baking sheet.
Bake at 450° F for 10 - 15 minutes.
