Whole Wheat Scones
|Flour||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Milk||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Crushed wheat||1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)|
|Baking powder||3 1⁄2 Teaspoon|
Sift flour, salt and baking powder together and add the crushed wheat.
Rub butter in with fingers and add milk until a stiff dough is obtained.
Roll out on a floured board until about 1/4" thick and cut into shapes.
Bake on a greased sheet in a warm oven (400° F) until light brown.
If prepared in advance, warm before serving.
