|Self rising flour||8 Ounce (All Purpose)|
|Powdered milk||4 Tablespoon|
|Butter||1 1⁄2 Ounce|
Sift flour, powdered milk, and salt into basin.
Add sugar and rub in butter until mixture resembles fine bread crumbs.
Pour nearly all the water in at once and mix to a soft dough; add extra water if necessary.
Place on floured surface and knead lightly.
Pat dough out to approximately 3/4 in. in thickness, and, using a 2 in. cutter, cut into rounds.
Place on to a greased baking tray, glaze with a little water or milk.
Bake in a very hot oven, Mark 8, 450°F., for 12 to 15 minutes or until golden brown
