Honeyed Banana Scones
|Self raising flour||4 Ounce|
Sift flours and salt into basin, rub in butter until mixture resembles fine bread crumbs.
Mash bananas; combine milk, honey, and mashed bananas, add to dry ingredients and work into soft dough.
Turn on to floured surface and knead lightly.
Pat out to 7 in. in thickness, cut with floured 2 in. cutter.
Place on to greased baking tins, glaze tops with a little milk.
Bake in very hot oven, Mark 8, 450°F., 12 to 15 minutes.
