Rich Cheese Scones
|Grated cheese||4 Ounce|
Sieve dry ingredients.
Rub in butter.
Add cheese, leaving a little to glaze scones.
Bind with egg and milk to soft rolling consistency.
Roll out dough to 1/2 inch thick and cut into shapes.
Brush with milk or egg and top with grated cheese.
Bake for good 10 minutes in hot oven (425-450° F.€”Gas Mark 6-7).
