Typical Expenses

Application fee: $100. Tuition: $295 per credit hour full-time, $295 per credit hour part-time. Program-related fees include $2560 for food, uniforms, knives; $100 for activity fee.

Financial Aid

In 2005, 25 scholarships were awarded (average award was $1000). Program-specific awards include American Academy of Chefs Scholarship, Nation’s Capital Chefs Association Scholarship, AIWF Scholarship. Employment placement assistance is available. Employment opportunities within the program are available.

Housing

Apartment-style housing available. Average on-campus housing cost per month: $550. Average off-campus housing cost per month: $800.

Application Information

Students may begin participation year-round. Applications are accepted continuously. In 2005, 300 applied; 300 were accepted. Applicants must interview; submit a formal application.
