Ham-And-Potato Scallop

Ingredients
  Peeled sliced cooked potatoes 4 Cup (64 tbs)
  Cubed cooked ham 2 Cup (32 tbs)
  Small boiled onions 1 Pound, drained
  Milk 2 Cup (32 tbs)
  Instant flour 3 Tablespoon
  Butter/Margarine 2 Tablespoon
  Salt 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Pepper 1⁄8 Teaspoon
Directions

1 Make two layers each of the potato slices, ham, and onions in a shallow 8-cup baking dish.
2 Combine milk, flour, butter or margarine, salt, and pepper in a small saucepan; cook, stirring constantly, until sauce thickens and boils 1 minute; pour over layers.
3 Bake in moderate oven (350°) for 40 minutes, or until bubbly hot.
Sprinkle with finely cut chives, if you wish.
