|Dry bread crumbs||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Salad oil/Shortening||150 Milliliter|
1. In deep skillet, heat salad oil (at least 1 inch) to 375F on deep-frying thermometer.
2. In small bowl, beat egg with seasoned salt and garlic powder. Dip scallops in egg mixture; roll in crumbs, coating evenly. Fry, a few at a time, until golden-brown—2 to 3 minutes. Drain on paper towels; keep warm while frying rest.
3. Serve cold with lemon wedges and Tartar Sauce.
