Pan Sauteed Scallops
|Scallops||1 1⁄2 Pound|
|Dry bread crumbs||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Butter/Margarine||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Toast slices||4 (Grilled)|
|Dry white wine||3 Tablespoon|
1)Wash and clean the scallops. Pat them dry.
2)In a tray containing bread crumbs, roll the scallops.
3)Heat a heavy skillet over very hot coals,and melt the butter.
4)Put in the scallops and cook for 5 minutes. Turn often.
5)Season with salt, pepper and paprika.
6)Take away the scallops from the skillet and place them on grilled toast.
7)Pour in some wine into the skillet and make the gravy.
8)Pour the gravy over the scallops on the toasts and serve.
