Scallops A La Schaller

Scallops A La Schaller is a simple and delicious side dish recipe which cannot just escape your guest's attention in any party. Why don€™t you give it a try and let me know the experience.
  Bacon 1 Pound, cut into half crosswise
  Sea scallops 2 Pound (Small Size)
  Olive oil 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Dry vermouth 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Chopped parsley 2 Tablespoon
  Garlic powder 1 Teaspoon
  Black pepper 1 Teaspoon
  Onion powder 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Oregano 1 Dash

Wrap 1 bacon piece around each scallop; if necessary secure with wooden toothpick.
Place wrapped scallops in baking dish.
Combine olive oil, vermouth, parsley, garlic powder, pepper, onion powder and oregano in small bowl.
Pour over scallops.
Cover and refrigerate at least 4 hours.
Remove scallops from marinade.
Arrange on broiler pan.
Broil, 4 inches from heat, 7 to 10 minutes or until bacon is brown.
Turn over and brown other side for about 5 minutes.
Remove wooden toothpicks.
Arrange on platter lined with greens.
Garnish as desired.
