Sausage Balls In Chutney Sauce
|Bulk pork sausage||1⁄2 Pound|
|Lean ground beef||1⁄2 Pound|
|Dry bread crumbs||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Egg||1 , beaten|
|Instant minced onion||1 Tablespoon|
|Dry mustard||1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Chutney||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Lemon juice||1 Teaspoon|
Combine sausage, ground beef, bread crumbs, egg, onion, mustard, salt and allspice.
Shape into 40 small balls.
Place sausage balls in a 12x8x2 inch glass baking dish.
Cover with a paper towel.
Microwave 6 to 8 minutes, giving dish a 1/2 turn halfway through cooking.
Combine chutney, plum jam and lemon juice.
Pour over sausage balls and stir to coat evenly.
Continue cooking in Microwave oven 6 to 8 minutes, stirring twice during cooking.
