Savory Sausage Toad In The Hole
|All purpose flour||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
|Savory||1⁄2 Teaspoon, dried|
|Milk||500 Milliliter (2 Cup)|
|Pork sausage||2 Pound|
In bowl, stir together flour, savory and salt.
Whisk milk with eggs; gradually whisk into flour mixture until smooth.
Let stand for 30 minutes.
Meanwhile, prick sausages; place in greased 13 x 9 inch (3 L) baking dish.
Roast in 375Â°F (190Â°C) oven, turning sausages once, for 25 to 30 minutes or until golden.
Drain off all but 2 tbsp (30 mL) fat.
Remove from oven; increase temperature to 425Â°F (220Â°C).
Whisk batter; pour over sausages.
Bake for 25 to 30 minutes or until puffed and golden.
