Mushroom Sausage Appetizer
|Pork sausage||1 Pound (Bulk Variety)|
|Cream cheese||8 Ounce, softened|
|Texas pete||1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Button mushrooms||16 Ounce|
Saute the sausage in a skillet over medium heat until cooked through and crumbly; drain.
Stir in the cream cheese and hot sauce.
Cook over low heat until hot and creamy, stirring constantly.
Remove from heat.
Remove the stems from the mushrooms and arrange caps hollow side up on a microwave-safe platter.
Spoon sausage mixture into the caps.
Microwave on High for 3 to 5 minutes or until hot and steaming.
Sprinkle with paprika and serve.
