|Cornmeal||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Whole wheat flour||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Garlic powder||1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Milk||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Cooking oil||3 Cup (48 tbs) (For Frying)|
Measure cornmeal, whole wheat flour, paprika, salt, and garlic powder into a 2quart bowl.
In a small bowl, beat together egg, milk, and oil.
Add to cornmeal mixture.
Insert wooden skewers into weiners.
Roll each weiner in a little additional whole wheat flour, and then thoroughly coat with corn mixture.
Let excess batter drip off.
Deepfat fry for 2 to 3 minutes.
Drain on a paper towel.
