Sausage And Apple-Stuffed Squash

Ingredients
  Acorn squash 3 Large
  Sausage 1 1⁄2 Pound
  Oats 3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)
  Salt 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Apple 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs), chopped
  Onion 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs), chopped
  Parsley 1 Tablespoon, minced
  Milk 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
Directions

Cut squash into halves; remove seeds.
Place squash, cut side down, in baking pan.
Pour small amount of water in pan.
Bake in 350-degree oven for 30 minutes.
Combine sausage, oats, salt, apple, onion, parsley and milk.
Make 18 balls; brown in slightly greased skillet.
Turn squash up; place 3 sausage balls in center of each squash.
Bake for 40 minutes longer or until squash is tender.
