Sausage Vegetable Dinner

Ingredients
  Polish sausages 3⁄4 Pound
  Baking potatoes 4
  Green pepper 1 , cut into strips
  Carrots 4 , cut into 3x1/4 inch strips
  Canned french beans 16 Ounce, drained (1 Can)
  Onion 1 , quartered
  Cabbage 1 , cored and quartered
  Salt 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Pepper 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Water 1 Cup (16 tbs)
Directions

GETTING READY
1) Using sharp knife, cut the sausages into diagonal 1/2 inch slices
2) Under running water, wash the potatoes and cut into 1/3 inch slices

MAKING
3) Into a Dutch oven, layer the sausages, potatoes, green pepper, carrots, French style beans, onion, cabbage, salt and the pepper
4) Add in the 1 cup of water and bring the mixture to a boil
5) Cover the Dutch oven with a lid and then simmer for 45 minutes till the vegetables are nice and soft

SERVING
6) Serve the dish warm
