Combine brown sugar, nutmeg, orange juice and but- ter for basting sauce.
Parboil onions; cut in thick slices.
Cut apples in thick slices.
Cut frankfurters into 1-inch pieces.
Thread frankfurters, onions and apples on cocktail skewers.
Broil over low coals until frankfurters are heated through, brushing frequently with sauce.
