Mixed Sausages and Eggplant Grill
|Eggplants||3 , cut crosswise into slices 1/2 inch (12 mm) thick (Aubergines)|
|Olive oil||2 Fluid Ounce (1/4 Cup /60 Milliliter)|
|Fresh thyme leaves||1 Tablespoon|
|Ground pepper||1 Teaspoon|
|Assorted sausages||4 1⁄2 Pound (25 Kilogram, 18 Sausages, Such As Mild Italian, Chicken-Apple, Or Bratwurst)|
1.Prepare a fire in a grill.
2.Brush eggplant slices on both sides with olive oil.
3.In a bowl, shallow baking dishplace the eggplant.
4.Add in thyme, pepper, and salt and toss .
5.Once the coals are medium-hot, place eggplant slices directly on grill rack or in a grill basket on the rack.
6.Grill for 7-8 minutes.to form a golden crust on the first side.
7.Do the same for the other side.
8.Tranfer onto a platter and keep warm.
9. You can let it cool to room temperature too.
10.Arrange sausages on the grill rack or in a grill basket on the rack.
11.Grill for 10-15 minutes., until the juices run clear when the sausages are pierced.
12. Take sausages from grill and arrange on one or more platters with the eggplant slices.
13. Serve hot for lunch.
