1.Preheat the oven to 250 degrees.
2.Take a large cooky sheet, spread bread cubes on it and heat for 10 minutes in the oven.
3.Once done, keep aside.
4.Slice the sausage in thick 8 pieces.
In a medium skillet, heat them for 5 minutes until brown.
5.Crumble the sausage in small pieces.
6.Cook for 1 more minute so that the sausage is no longer pink.
7.In a large bowl, put bread cubes.
8.Transfer the sausage into the bowl.
9.Reserve 2 tablespoons of dripping in teh skillet, cook onions until tender.
10.Add water and apples to it and heat until the mixture boils.
11.Drizzle the onion mixture over the sausage.
