Sausage Hominy Skillet
|Brown and serve sausage links||8 Ounce, halved (1 Package)|
|Chopped onion||2 Tablespoon|
|All purpose flour||2 Tablespoon|
|Canned hominy||16 Ounce, undrained (1 Can)|
|Evaporated milk||6 Ounce (1 Can)|
|Sour cream sauce mix||2 1⁄2 Ounce, prepared according to package directions (1 Package)|
|Chopped green pepper||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
In skillet brown the sausage pieces. (Electric skillet 350°.)
Add onion and butter; cook till onion is tender but not brown.
Combine flour, salt, and pepper.
Stir into sausage.
Add undrained hominy and evaporated milk or sour cream sauce.
Reduce heat (220°); cook and stir till thickened and bubbly.
Add green pepper; cook till crisp-tender, about 10 minutes.
