Original Bratwurst Sausage
|Beer||2 Cup (32 tbs) (lager)|
|Onions||2 , finely sliced (half of the onions are to be fried with the sausage and the remaining with the bell peppers)|
|Olive oil||2 Tablespoon|
|Red bell pepper||1 , sliced thin and long|
|Tomato||1 , cut into strips (deseeded)|
|Ground black pepper||1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Tomato ketchup||3 Tablespoon|
Take a skillet and add a tbsp of the olive oil. Now add half the onions, tomatoes and bell pepper. Add salt, sugar and pepper. Saute till well done and soft. Take out and keep aside.
In the skillet, add 1 tbsp of olive oil. Add half the onions and sauté till it is soft and changes color. Add the sausages and beer. Let cook till it turns slightly brown. When done take out. Take a bun, add a layer of mustard, then a layer of mayonnaise and tomato ketchup. Add a tbsp of the onion-tomato mixture. Add the sausages and onions. Serve.
