Sweet 'N' Sour Pork Sausages
|Pork sausages||1 Pound|
|Canned pineapple pieces||12 Ounce|
|Dry mustard||1 Teaspoon|
|Brown sugar||2 Tablespoon|
|Soy sauce||2 Teaspoon|
|Worcestershire sauce||2 Teaspoon|
|Cucumber||1⁄4 , cut into 1-inch thick strips|
Gently fry the sausages in the lard until evenly browned.
Strain off the juice from pineapple and make up to 1/2 pint with water; pour into a pan and bring to the boil.
Blend together the cornflour and remaining ingredients, except pineapple pieces, cucumber and seasoning.
Pour on to pineapple juice.
Bring to the boil, stirring, and cook for 1-2 minutes, stirring.
Add pineapple pieces and cucumber strips.
Season to taste.
Place half the sausages in the bottom of a serving dish.
Pour over the sauce and arrange remaining sausages on top.
Serve any remaining sauce separately.
