Cheese and Sausage Strata

Ingredients
  Bulk pork sausage 1⁄2 Pound
  Mushroom slices 3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)
  Green onion slices 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Pasteurized processed cheese spread 1⁄2 Pound, cubed
  Sourdough bread cubes 4 Cup (64 tbs) (Fresh Ones)
  Milk 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Eggs 4 , beaten
Directions

Brown sausage; drain.
Add vegetables, continue cooking 5 minutes.
Drain.
Cool 10 minutes.
Mix together sausage mixture, process cheese spread and bread cubes.
Spoon into greased 8-inch square baking dish.
Beat milk and eggs; pour over sausage mixture.
Cover; refrigerate several hours or overnight.
Bake at 350°, uncovered, 50 to 55 minutes or until golden brown.
Let stand 10 minutes before serving.
