|Cold water||5 Cup (80 tbs)|
|Sausage meat||3⁄4 Pound|
|Yellow corn meal||1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)|
|Poultry seasoning||1 Teaspoon|
|Celery seeds||1 Teaspoon|
|Curry powder||1⁄2 Teaspoon|
Combine onions with the cold water in a large kettle.
Stir in sausage meat, and simmer, uncovered, 10 min.
Sift in corn meal gradually, and the seasonings, stirring constantly.
Simmer 10 min stirring occasionally.
Pour into a greased or oiled loaf pan, 10"x5"x3"; chill until firm.
Slice 1/4" thick; saute in hot fat or salad oil to golden brown on both sides.
