Sausage and Apple Stuffing

|Butter/Margarine||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Sliced fresh mushrooms||1 1⁄3 Cup (21.33 tbs)|
|Apple||1 Medium, chopped|
|Chopped celery||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Chopped onion||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Poultry seasoning||1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Dried crushed sage||1⁄2 Teaspoon (Dried Crushed Sage Leaves)|
|Unseasoned croutons||2 1⁄2 Cup (40 tbs) (White Bread Croutons)|
|Unseasoned whole wheat bread croutons||2 1⁄2 Cup (40 tbs)|
|Ready to serve chicken broth||3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)|
Crumble sausage into 1-quart casserole.
Microwave at High for 3 to 6 minutes, or until sausage is no longer pink, stirring once to break apart.
Combine butter, mushrooms, apple, celery and onion in 2-quart casserole.
Microwave at High for 7 to 9 minutes, or until celery is tender, stirring once.
Stir in sausage and remaining ingredients, except chicken broth.
Pour broth evenly over croutons and vegetables.
Stir to moisten.
Microwave at High for 3 to 5 minutes, or until heated through, stirring once.
