Sausage And Apple Stuffing

Ingredients
  Pork sausage 1⁄2 Pound
  Butter/Margarine 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Sliced fresh mushrooms 1 1⁄3 Cup (21.33 tbs)
  Apple 1 Medium, chopped
  Chopped celery 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Chopped onion 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Salt 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Poultry seasoning 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Dried crushed sage 1⁄2 Teaspoon (Dried Crushed Sage Leaves)
  Pepper 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Unseasoned croutons 2 1⁄2 Cup (40 tbs) (White Bread Croutons)
  Unseasoned whole wheat bread croutons 2 1⁄2 Cup (40 tbs)
  Ready to serve chicken broth 3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)
Directions

Crumble sausage into 1-quart casserole.
Cover.
Microwave at High for 3 to 6 minutes, or until sausage is no longer pink, stirring once to break apart.
Drain.
Set aside.
Combine butter, mushrooms, apple, celery and onion in 2-quart casserole.
Cover.
Microwave at High for 7 to 9 minutes, or until celery is tender, stirring once.
Stir in sausage and remaining ingredients, except chicken broth.
Pour broth evenly over croutons and vegetables.
Stir to moisten.
Re-cover.
Microwave at High for 3 to 5 minutes, or until heated through, stirring once.
