Sausage Stuffing Towers
|Bulk pork sausage||1 1⁄2 Pound|
|Herb seasoned stuffing||1 Cup (16 tbs) (Packaged)|
|Peeled chopped tart apples||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Finely chopped celery||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Minced onion||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Snipped parsley||2 Tablespoon|
|Chili sauce||2 Tablespoon|
|Dry mustard||1⁄4 Teaspoon|
|Spiced crab apples||6|
Shape sausage in 12 thin patties, 1/4 inch thick.
Prepare stuffing according to package directions, using 1/4 cup water and 2 tablespoons butter.
Add apple, celery, onion, and seasonings; toss to mix.
Arrange 6 sausage patties in shallow pan.
Top each with 1/2 cup stuffing, then another patty; toothpick through center to hold.
Bake in moderate oven (375°) 45 minutes or till done.
Top with crab apples.
