Barbecued Sausages with Fresh Oysters
|Thin sausages||1 1⁄2 Pound (750 Gram, Pork Or Beef Sausages)|
|Water||1 1⁄4 Cup (20 tbs)|
|Tomato ketchup||3 Tablespoon|
|Oysters in shells||24 (Use Fresh Variety)|
Place sausages in a pan and cover with cold water, bring to the boil and cook 2-3 minutes, then drain well.
Brush sausages with oil and place on the hotplate over hot coals and cook for 18-20 minutes, turning often, until browned.
Brush with ketchup and serve with the fresh oysters, lemon wedges, salt and pepper.
Goes well with crunchy bread, washed down with dry white wine.
