Pierce sausage with fork.
Place in shallow skillet; cover with water.
Bring to boil; reduce heat.
Cook 5 minutes; drain.
Peel skin from sausage; slice into 1/2-inch-thick slices.
Heat oil in large skillet until haze forms above oil.
Add sausage; brown evenly on both sides.
Remove sausage from skillet; reserve.
Add potatoes to skillet.
Spread evenly over bottom of skillet.
Fry over medium heat on one side without stirring, about 12 minutes.
When done on one side, use pancake turner and flip potatoes with one turn.
Fry remaining side of potatoes until done.
