Tuscany Sausage And Rice Skillet
|Italian sausage||3⁄4 Pound, cut into 1-inch slices, casings removed|
|Onion||1 Medium, cut into thin wedges|
|Garlic||1 Clove (5 gm), minced|
|Thin bell pepper strips||3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs) (Colored Green)|
|Thin bell pepper strips||3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs) (Colored Red)|
|Chicken broth||1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)|
|Instant rice||1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)|
|Grated parmesan cheese||2 Tablespoon|
Cook sausage with onion and garlic in 10-inch skillet until sausage is cooked through.
Pour off all but 1 tablespoon drippings.
Add pepper strips, broth and salt.
Bring to a boil.
Stir in rice; cover and remove from heat.
Let stand 5 minutes or until all liquid is absorbed.
Sprinkle with cheese
