Curried Sausage Saute
|Fully cooked sausage||1 1⁄2 Pound (Kielbasa, Knackwurst, Bratwurst, Or Garlic Frankfurters)|
|Curry powder||4 Teaspoon|
|White onion||1 Medium, cut into 1-inch squares|
|Green pepper||1 Large, seeded and cut into 1-inch squares|
Cut sausages into 1/2-inch-thick slanting slices; set aside.
Melt butter in a wide frying pan over medium heat; stir in curry powder and mix well.
Add onion and green pepper and cook, stirring, until tender-crisp (about 2 minutes).
Stir in sausages and cook until meat is lightly browned (about 4 minutes).
Add tomatoes and cook, stirring gently, until they give up some juice (1 to 2 minutes).
Turn into a dish.
Pass applesauce at the table to accompany sausage, if desired.
