1 Cup (16 tbs)
1 Medium (Red Yellow And Green Colored)
1 Teaspoon, crushed
1 Can (10 oz)
In a wok, saute the sausages for a while. Remove and keep aside.
Then in the same wok, add the onion and peppers. Stir for a while and sprinke salt and pepper. Add the garlic and return the sausages. Pour a can of Rotel and mix well. Season with the oregano and thyme. Stir and cook further for a few minutes.
This is one of those classic Italian American street-food, lunch cart dishes. Stuff this sausage, peppers, and onions into a large bread roll or spoon it over pasta, polenta or rice and you have yourself a hearty meal. Eat too much of this and you are sure to be in a food coma for the rest of the day.
