Chive Sausage El Dorado
|Sausage||1 1⁄2 Pound|
|Green pepper||1 Cup (16 tbs), chopped|
|Canned cannelloni beans||1 Pound, drained (1 Can)|
|Cooked rice||3 Cup (48 tbs)|
|Chopped chives||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Canned tomato paste||6 Ounce (1 Can)|
|Canned tomatoes||1 Pound, chopped (1 Can)|
|Ground pepper||To Taste|
Cook sausage until lightly browned.
Reserve 1/4 cup of the pan drippings.
Fry green pepper in the 1/4-cup drippings until tender.
Combine with remaining ingredients, season to taste with salt and pepper and pour into a buttered 1 1/2 -quart casserole.
Arrange sausages on top.
Bake in a 400° F.oven 25 to 30 minutes or until bubbly.
