Country Rice & Beans With Chicken & Sausage

Ingredients
  Boneless, skinless, chicken breasts 8 Ounce, cut into strips
  Smoked sausage 8 Ounce, sliced
  Coarsely chopped onion 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Butter/Margarine 1 Tablespoon
  Water 3 Cup (48 tbs)
  Red beans and rice 8 Ounce (1 Package)
  Sliced green pepper 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Sliced celery 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
Directions

In large saucepan, saute chicken, sausage and onion in butter 5 to 7 minutes or until chicken is no longer pink.
Add water, beans & rice, contents of seasoning packet, green pepper and celery.
Bring to a boil; cover.
Reduce heat and simmer 20 to 25 minutes or until liquid is absorbed.
