Sausage Brunch Dish
|Swiss cheese||1 Cup (16 tbs), grated|
|Dijon mustard||1 Teaspoon|
|Eggs||3 , beaten|
|Skim milk||1 1⁄4 Cup (20 tbs)|
|Skim evaporated milk||3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)|
|Worcestershire sauce||1 Teaspoon|
|Black pepper||1⁄8 Teaspoon|
Trim crusts from bread slices and reserve separately.
Coat the bottom of a 9 x 13 in. (23 x 33 cm) cake pan with vegetable spray.
Place the bread slices in the pan.
Crumb the bread crusts; brown in a nonstick skillet; reserve.
Fry and crumble the sausage over low heat until browned; drain thoroughly.
Sprinkle the cheese over the bread slices in the pan.
Top with the browned sausage.
Combine remaining ingredients in a bowl and stir to blend completely.
Pour over the sausage mixture.
Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 30 to 35 minutes or until set.
