Upside Down Sausage Bake
|Onion||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs), chopped|
|Black pepper||1⁄4 Teaspoon|
|All purpose flour||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Yellow cornmeal||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Skim milk||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Baking powder||1 Teaspoon|
|Granulated sugar replacement||2 Teaspoon|
Combine the sausage, onions, salt, and pepper in a skillet.
Cook and stir until sausage is browned and onion is tender; drain thoroughly.
Spoon into a 9 in. (23 cm) square pan.
Combine the remaining ingredients in a bowl; beat to blend.
Pour over the sausage mixture.
Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 20 to 30 minutes or until done.
