Alsatian Pork And Sausage Bake
|Sauerkraut||32 Ounce, drained (Two 16 Ounce Bags Or Cans, Drained)|
|Knackwurst||16 Ounce, cut into 1-inch pieces (1 Package)|
|Potatoes||4 Medium, cut into 1/4 inch-thick slices|
|Green cabbage head||1⁄2 Small, thinly sliced|
|Red cooking apple||1 , cut into thin wedges|
|White grape juice||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Brown sugar||2 Tablespoon|
|Salad oil||2 Tablespoon|
|Pork loin country style ribs||3 Pound, cut into serving-sized pieces|
1. In 14 1/2 by 11 1/2" roasting pan, mix first 7 ingredients; set aside.
2. In 12-inch skillet over medium-high heat, in hot oil, cook ribs until browned on both sides. Tuck ribs into sauerkraut. Cover pan with foil and bake in 350°F. oven 1 1/2 hours.
3. Uncover pan and bake 30 minutes longer, occasionally basting mixture with liquid in pan, until meat and potatoes are fork-tender.
