Harvest Sausage Stuffing
|Bulk sausage||1 Pound|
|Celery||2 Cup (32 tbs), chopped|
|Mushrooms||8 Ounce, sliced|
|Chopped onion||1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)|
|Chicken instant bouillon/4 chicken flavor bouillon cubes||4 Teaspoon|
|Boiling water||1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)|
|Herb seasoned stuffing mix||14 Ounce (2 Package)|
|Mincemeat||1 1⁄3 Cup (21.33 tbs) (1/2 Jar)|
|Canned sliced water chestnuts||8 Ounce, chopped (1 Can)|
|Poultry seasoning||2 Teaspoon|
In large skillet, brown sausage; pour off fat.
Add celery, mushrooms and onion; cook until onion is tender.
Add bouillon and water to sausage mixture; bring to a boil.
In large bowl, combine remaining ingredients with sausage mixture; mix well.
Use to loosely stuff turkey just before roasting; place remaining stuffing in 2-quart greased baking dish; cover.
Bake at 350° for 45 minutes or until hot.
