Harvest Sausage Stuffing
|Bulk sausage||1 Pound|
|Chopped celery||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
|Mushrooms||8 Ounce, sliced|
|Chopped onions||1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)|
|Chicken flavor instant bouillon cubes/4 chicken-flavor bouillon cubes||4 Teaspoon|
|Boiling water||1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)|
|Herb-seasoned stuffing mix||14 Ounce (Two 7 Ounce Packages)|
|Minced meat||1 1⁄3 Cup (21.33 tbs) (1/2 Jar)|
|Canned sliced water chestnuts||8 Ounce, drained and coarsely chopped (1 Can)|
|Poultry seasoning||2 Teaspoon|
In large skillet, brown sausage; pour off fat.
Add celery, mushrooms and onions; cook until onions are tender.
Add bouillon and water to sausage mixture; bring to a boil.
In large bowl, combine remaining ingredients with sausage mixture; mix well.
Use to stuff turkey loosely just before roasting.
Place remaining stuffing in 2-quart greased baking dish; cover.
Bake at 350°F for 45 minutes or until hot.
