|Economy sausage||1 Pound|
|Onion||1 Large, chopped/grated|
|Canned tomatoes||15 Ounce (1 Can)|
|Flour||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs), sifted|
|Baking powder||2 Teaspoon|
Cook sausage with chopped onion.
Pour off any excess grease, heat the tomatoes and pour over sausage and onions in a baking dish.
Then cover tomatoes with the batter.
Sift dry ingredients into dish, add beaten egg and milk to make a stiff dough.
Drop on top of dish and bake until a nice brown in moderate oven.
